Before starting my franchise, I worked for several national retail chains. I clawed my way up the ladder first to district manager and then on to regional manager.

But I was tired of the long hours associated with retail. The constant moving around the country was disrupting my kids' family life. I had four children, and it just wasn't fair to them. So, for the sake of my family, I made the decision to take on the SparkleWash franchise.

I love the independence and being in charge of my own life. I can not over emphasis how much more successful and happy I've become since I started working for myself. I also thoroughly enjoy being back in my hometown. My family and I are with the people we know and love, and it's just been a blessing. And I don't want to gloss over the fact that I saw a real business opportunity with SparkleWash. They gave me the opportunity to take the limited financial resources I had at the time and develop them into a thriving million dollar plus business.

One of the things I like most about being affiliated with SparkleWash is the constant support. As I grew, my business needs changed, and so did the support I got from Sparkle Wash. It's really great, there's help from the factory, and there's help from the national body of other Sparkle Wash franchisees from around the country - the world really. It's a great group of people, and we're all trying to help one another be successful.
